Kristin Fisher has joined CNN on 20 July 2021. She is CNN's Space and Defense Correspondent. She covers all aspects of space, including NASA and Space Force, Space Force and commercial space companies, to the emergence of Space Tourism. Kristin's parents are each NASA astronauts. Kristin spent her childhood in space. She has also employed as a White House reporter for FOX News reporting on the Trump and Biden Administrations regarding space-related issues. In that time she covered the 2020 presidential campaign, two impeachment trials as well as two initiatives to end the pandemic coronavirus, as well as two different administrations' initiatives. Her extensive travels with the president and vice-president also included an official trip to Afghanistan, which she took with Donald Trump. Kristin was a TV local reporter for Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, Washington, D.C., in which she was awarded the Emmy Award for her work as the "one-man-band" reporter before joining CBS in the year 2015. Kristin founded Field Mouse Films with her experience behind the camera in the year 2014. Field Mouse Films specialized in producing documentary films for corporate clients including Uber and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin has a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism at Boston University. She lives in Washington, D.C. with her husband and three year old daughter.
